RAS technology has become one of the most efficient and sustainable methods of land-based fish farming, as it allows producers to reuse water from the tanks and gives them control over the main environmental variables that affect performance.
Billund Aquaculture will have a stand (D-28) at this year's Aqua Sur that takes place from March 19 - 21, where our top Chilean and international specialists will be on site to provide detailed explanations about the advantages of RAS and how it can be used to optimize your aquaculture operations.
Marcelo Varela, CEO of Billund Aquaculture Chile, said, "We will have a multidisciplinary team of professionals available to respond to any doubts, questions or other requirements that both users of our solutions, and those who are not yet familiar with them, may have." Bjarne Olsen, Billund's global CSO, will also be attending the event. "Bjarne has attended the fair numerous times in the past and will be delighted to meet up again with established clients and get to know the new players in the local market," he said.
Let's meet again
Billund will have different types of supporting materials related to RAS operations at the venue, which be located at the installations of logistics company Terminales Marítimos de la Patagonia (TMP) in the Chinquihue sector of the city of Puerto Montt, which it will use to demonstrate the benefits of this technology to the general public.
"As always, we will have a stand, where anyone who wants to learn more about our technology, can visit. This year, we will also have some new features designed to help people get a more up-close experience and a greater understanding of how our systems work, where they can immerse themselves in our technology and have a closer, more in-depth, and tangible experience," Varela said.
The executive also extended a very special invitation to anyone who wants to learn more about the projects Billund is currently developing, the evolution of the company's systems over time, trends in the recirculation industry, especially those related to automation and post-smolt. "Come and visit our stand. We look forward to welcoming you and meeting up again," he said.
