Just like Aqua Nor, which took place a few months ago in Norway, the show will be held in hybrid format of virtual and face-to-face meetings, giving industry representatives the opportunity to meet up for the first time in two years and present the latest technological innovations in the sector.
This will be Billund Aquaculture’s eighth consecutive participation in AquaSur and we are looking forward to taking part again. Commenting on this year’s conference, Billund’s General Manager for Chile, Marcelo Varela, said he hopes to “meet potential partners and seek out new contacts within the industry, while meeting with existing clients and presenting our new technologies. From all of this we will take inspiration to continue improving on the solutions that we are already developing.”
Billund Aquaculture’s Operations and Business Development Manager, Bjarne Hald Olsen also expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming event saying that “this is the largest aquaculture show in the Southern Hemisphere and a great opportunity to interact with the Chilean industry and engage with our local team. That is what has motivated me the most to travel from Denmark to Chile once again.”
Global projects
Billund Aquaculture will have a large and comfortable stand (A-238) at AquaSur, ideal for meeting and presenting the projects we are working on in the best possible way. As a global company, we have built more than 140 projects in thirty countries over our 35-year history.
Varela invites those who cannot attend AquaSur in-person to connect to the AquaSur Connect platform, and calls on those who are attending the face-to-face event to not forget that the pandemic is not over yet and that we must continue to protect ourselves and each other and respect local sanitary protocols.
